Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Data Service Technician for a contract-to-hire role. The position covers cabling infrastructure, MDF/IDF closets, rack-mount switches, CCTV, POS devices, and wireless access points.

Ideal candidates have Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber experience, color-code knowledge, and flexibility for on-call shifts. OSHA 10 certification is a plus; 720 hours may lead to full-time employment with the client.

Qualifications

• Running low-voltage cable, terminating, testing, and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optic cables.
• Installing MDF/IDF closets, rack-mounting network switches, and managing CCTV, POS equipment, and wireless access points
• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, early morning, day, night, and weekend shifts
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Knowledgeable in identifying independent colors and learning color codes.
• Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in conduit installation is a plus.

Job title: Data Service Technician
Location: Indianapolis IN
Duration: Contract to Hire (After 720 working hours, will be eligible to go fulltime with my client)
Hourly pay rate: $25-30

Requirements

• Cabling & Infrastructure: Running low-voltage cable, terminating, testing, and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optic cables.
• Network Deployment: Installing MDF/IDF closets, rack-mounting network switches, and managing CCTV, POS equipment, and wireless access points
• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, early morning, day, night, and weekend shifts depending on the requirements of the job.
