Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field related to data engineering or cybersecurity.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or information security, with focus on securing large-scale data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce the security posture of the data ecosystem and contribute to core data platform architecture.
• Design, implement and manage advanced security configurations for the data platform (e.g., governance, DLP, and DSPM across cloud environments).
• Define, configure and maintain IAM/RBAC policies across data environments to enforce least privilege.
• Embed security controls into data ingestion and processing pipelines to ensure secure data from source to consumption.
• Establish and maintain safety protocols and controls for data throughout its lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance of data security policies and SOPs in daily operations.
• Assess effectiveness of security measures; identify vulnerabilities and recommend updates.
• Implement secure data transfers with encryption and firewall protections.
• Plan, execute and analyze vulnerability testing and penetration testing results.
• Participate in incident response and forensics and provide post-breach data for analysis.
