This hybrid role requires strong Data Engineering and advanced Data Security expertise, with remote work supported, and residence in the Dallas/Ft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Data Eng, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Information Security.
• Strong focus on securing large-scale data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce security posture of the data ecosystem.
• Design and implement security configurations for the data platform (Azure Purview, DLP, DSPM).
• Define IAM and RBAC policies across data environments.
• Embed security controls into data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Lead incident response and forensics activities.
• Conduct vulnerability testing and security assessments.
• Ensure governance and compliance of security SOPs.
