Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a PhD or DPhil candidate/recent graduate in I-O psychology or related field to join the POP Assets team in North America. You will develop scalable assets, conduct advanced analytics, and translate insights into strategic client recommendations.

You will work with researchers and consultants to publish knowledge and build new models, dashboards, and frameworks, driving organizational insights for clients across the US.

Qualifications

• PhD or DPhil in I-O psychology, organizational behavior, or related field with strong research/methodology.
• Strong research skills covering literature review, design, data management, analysis, interpretation.
• Expertise in people analytics, talent, survey/assessment design, organizational culture/design, or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable assets, assessments, and tools from foundational research and data.
• Partner with senior team members to translate data insights into client recommendations.
• Author or contribute to knowledge pieces across topics and publication formats.
• Apply advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and data visualization, to organizational questions.
