Job summary

KAYAK is seeking a Data Science Manager in Concord, MA to lead a senior team of Data Scientists and set technical direction. You will guide modeling, experimentation, and ML across AdTech, auctions, and the shared Experimentation Platform, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and business partners to deliver measurable outcomes.

You’ll mentor a high-performing team, drive technical excellence, and ensure scalable, data-driven decision-making that improves user experience and business

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of data science teams; hands-on with modeling, experimentation, and ML infrastructure.
• Strong track record delivering ML systems in production that drive business outcomes.
• Ability to align data science goals with product and business priorities.
• Comfort navigating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmaps for AdTech/Auction and Experimentation Platform.
• Lead and grow Concord-based Data Science team with autonomy and accountability.
• Guide modeling, experimentation, and ML solutions; contribute hands-on where impactful.
• Evolve Experimentation Platform with clear ownership boundaries between infra and use-case logic.
• Translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and productionize solutions.
• Champion rigorous experimentation and data-driven decision-making across the org.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive complex initiatives to production.
