Job summary

Excellus BCBS in Utica, NY seeks a Data Request Support Consultant to manage client data and analytic requests, coordinating with provider and vendor relationships and ensuring accurate specifications and timely delivery.

The role acts as SME for data requests, tracks updates in real time, and collaborates with stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive completion, while upholding privacy and corporate values.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional experience in healthcare or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; six years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated success with project management and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains efficient processes for managing requests, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
• Analyses, organizes, and delivers data insights to support client understanding and decision-making.
• Partners with stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify expectations for project objectives and deliverables.
• Serves as the primary liaison between the reporting organization and clients, providing regular updates on progress and metrics.
• Assists in determining needed details or specifications related to data requests and analyses to aid clarity and completion.
• Escalates requests to expedite completion and coordinates with key parties as a central process owner.
• Maintains detailed content in discussions, meetings, and emails related to requests with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides updates and metrics on turnaround times and works with leadership to identify efficiencies and improvements.
• Ux (upholds) integrity and privacy aligning with corporate policies and values.
