Job summary

Little Caesars Enterprises Inc. seeks an experienced Database Administrator to provide production and testing DBA support.

You will perform backups, recoveries, reorgs, unload/load, monitoring, and assist with migrations while coordinating with development teams to refresh environments for testing. The role requires five years of experience with NoSQL and relational databases, scripting and automation skills, and Azure cloud expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years running NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB and Redis) and relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server).
Proven experience with running database workloads on Azure Cloud or similar cloud providers.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Strong expertise in automation, monitoring, and performance engineering of database systems.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for all database instances, manage changes, and implement automation tools to streamline operations.
Participate in production readiness reviews to ensure database reliability needs are met, assist in designing redundant systems and disaster recovery policies, and develop methods for integrating and customizing databases to meet specific needs.
Monitor databases, assist in development and maintenance of monitoring systems, and ensure performance and reliability goals are met.
Responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of corporate databases.
Manage and optimize database workloads on Azure Cloud or similar cloud providers.
Implement, administer, and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company databases.
Assist in writing documentation, establishing procedures and supporting other team members.
Communicate and monitor compliance with existing practices.
Maintain knowledge in state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.
Ensure communication with internal staff and vendors is timely, professional, and complete.
Ensure quality data creation, presentation, and data flow within our systems.
