Job summary

Domino's World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Databricks Data Platform Engineer to manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and CI/CD. You will troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and cost, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep platform operations running smoothly.

5+ years in Databricks administration and Azure cloud, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Onsite work four days a week at the Ann Arbor office is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Azure Databricks administration and L2/L3 production support.
• Strong hands-on cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Proven experience troubleshooting Databricks performance and availability issues.
• Strong communication, ownership and problem solving.
• Nice to have SQL Server and MongoDB administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, runtimes and policies.
• Troubleshoot production issues: cluster instability, slow/failed jobs, capacity.
• Manage governance: Entra ID, service principals, secrets, Unity Catalog, access.
• Optimize performance and cost: autoscaling, Photon, compute policies.
• Develop CI/CD and IaC with Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, DBA teams.
