Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement, maintain, and support the organization's data protection infrastructure. You will work with senior engineers on DLP/DSPM tools, policy tuning, and incident response across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will develop automation (PowerShell, Python), participate in projects, and stay current with security standards such as HITRUST/NIST. Remote or on‑site options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining DLP/DSPM solutions.
• Experience across on-premises and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiar with HITRUST CSF, NIST, PCI, HIPAA frameworks.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure and policies.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Design and deploy DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.
• Develop automation scripts to improve deployment and maintenance.
