Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, working with DLP/DSPM tools. The role involves incident troubleshooting, automation development in PowerShell/Python, and policy management while aligning with security standards and governance.

Collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years experience with Data Loss Prevention.
5+ years experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
5+ years deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
5+ years creating and managing DLP policies.
Substitutions: 5 years in InfoSec, Governance, Risk with 3+ years hands-on engineering.
Master's degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain components of data protection infra across platforms.
Collaborate on design/implementation of data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud envs.
Configure and maintain data protection policies and sensitive information types.
Troubleshoot incidents with root-cause analysis and escalation as needed.
Support projects with testing, deployment, and documentation.
Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment/maintenance.
Collaborate with team to expand knowledge of data protection tech.
Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
