Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, including DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.

The role partners with senior engineers to design, test, and optimize data protection policies and incident response, leveraging PowerShell and Python to enhance deployment and operations. Compliance and security practices are integral to daily work.

Qualificações

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies
• 3 years of experience with at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell)
• 3 years of experience with designing and providing architectural support to cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of HITRUST CSF, NIST 800-83 cyber security framework, PCI, HIPAA, HITECH, COBIT, ISO 27001/2, ITIL 3
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of Information Security, Governance, Risk and/or Compliance with hands-on Engineering principles
• Master's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field
• Advanced cloud certification (GCP/AWS/Azure)

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, deploying DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.
• Design and implement data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms, including sensitive information types and detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents with root-cause analysis and escalation as needed.
• Contribute to data protection projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Use PowerShell and Python to improve deployment and maintenance of data protection software.
• Collaborate to expand knowledge in data protection technologies.
• Stay current with data protection technologies, best practices, and compliance requirements.
