Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, including DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.

You'll work with PowerShell and Python to automate tasks, collaborate with senior engineers, and ensure compliance with HITRUST, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and related standards as part of a broader security program.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• 5 years of Information Security and Systems Analysis experience.
• 5 years deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5 years creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3 years experience with at least two programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).
• 3 years designing and providing architectural support for two cloud providers: GCP, AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Configure and tune DLP, DSPM, and data de-identification solutions.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate on data protection projects and document procedures.
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
