Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and supporting data protection infrastructure with DLP/DSPM capabilities across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3 years of experience with at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell etc.)

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the organization's data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, ensuring security and performance.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-premises and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies, sensitive information types, and detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
