As a Data Protection Analyst, you will collaborate with Data Protection Ops and Platforms teams to identify areas for improvement in our operating, monitoring processes, practices, or policies.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, configure, and document DLP technologies across multiple environments.
- Perform problem diagnosis and leverage technical expertise to develop solutions for specific technical problems, contributing to remediation and recovery activities.
- Continuously monitor the performance of data protection platforms to identify issues and ensure systems operate without interruption.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, policies, and business operating models.
- Utilize data management, analysis, and data mining techniques to derive trends and patterns in data.
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity incident handling and security operations, preferably in banking/finance sectors.
- Knowledge of security policies, technical standards, multi-tier trust zone structures, and complex EDR/XDR management systems.
- Experience with tools such as MS Purview, ZScaler, MDE, Insider Risk Management, etc.
- Proficiency with Splunk and similar platforms.
- Experience in automating and improving reports.
- Scripting or programming experience with Python or similar languages.
- High technical competence in designing, engineering, and operating security platforms.
- Strong analytical skills in technical contexts.
- Effective delivery and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of data security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
