Job description

As a Data Protection Analyst, you will collaborate with Data Protection Ops and Platforms teams to identify areas for improvement in our operating, monitoring processes, practices, or policies.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, deploy, configure, and document DLP technologies across multiple environments.
  2. Perform problem diagnosis and leverage technical expertise to develop solutions for specific technical problems, contributing to remediation and recovery activities.
  3. Continuously monitor the performance of data protection platforms to identify issues and ensure systems operate without interruption.
  4. Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, policies, and business operating models.
  5. Utilize data management, analysis, and data mining techniques to derive trends and patterns in data.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity incident handling and security operations, preferably in banking/finance sectors.
  • Knowledge of security policies, technical standards, multi-tier trust zone structures, and complex EDR/XDR management systems.
  • Experience with tools such as MS Purview, ZScaler, MDE, Insider Risk Management, etc.
  • Proficiency with Splunk and similar platforms.
  • Experience in automating and improving reports.
  • Scripting or programming experience with Python or similar languages.
  • High technical competence in designing, engineering, and operating security platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills in technical contexts.
  • Effective delivery and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of data security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
