Base pay range

$37.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Title: Data Privacy Analyst

Location: Fully Remote (EST / CST Timezone)

Duration: 3-6M Contract-to-Hire

Day-to-Day

The Data Privacy Analyst will ensure the organization's data privacy practices comply with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification and involves working closely with a third-party privacy service company to safeguard sensitive information and maintain privacy standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is required.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with privacy management tools and software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with third-party service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct privacy impact assessments and audits to identify risks and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
• Collaborate with the third-party privacy service company to develop and implement privacy policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze data privacy trends and regulations to keep the organization informed and compliant.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on data privacy best practices.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of privacy documentation, including data flow diagrams and records of processing activities.
• Respond to privacy-related inquiries and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to address privacy concerns and implement solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports on privacy compliance and metrics for stakeholders.
