Role: Data Protection/ComplianceAnalyst (Financial Services)
Location: Irving Area - Las Colinas, TX (4 days on site)
Duration:6-month Contract
Compensation:$50.00-$60.00/hr.

Summary

• Responsible for ensuring that all of the firm's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations, and that the firm complies with legal/regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions.
• Day-to-day focus is on the resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes.
• Support the Bank's Compliance Program by monitoring transaction activity and escalating actual or potentially suspicious activity for follow-up investigation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
• Review work papers and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring findings, conclusions, and recommendations are properly supported.
• Leads or participates in field discussions with business line management and, where necessary, communicates and/or escalates all issues requiring the business line's or senior management's immediate attention, respectively.
• Track regulatory changes impacting compliance programs, summarize changes, and communicate changes to the business units.
• Assist with the ongoing rollout of Compliance initiatives throughout the Americas.
• Draft/edit training materials.
• 5-7 years of experience in general or compliance auditing.
• General understanding of US banking regulations.

Privacy certifications are highly desirable, such as:

• CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States)
• CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager)
• CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist)

Required:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in:
  • Privacy program management
  • Data protection compliance (CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Financial services regulatory environment
• Strong leadership experience (cross-border initiatives, privacy risk assessment).
• Deep experience responding to regulatory (e.g., OCC, FRB, CFPB) and audit requests for information.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and preferably some exposure to international privacy laws.
• Ability to support the design, implementation, and oversight of a privacy program (privacy impact assessments, data subject rights, breach response).
• Deep understanding of data governance, protections, and third-party risk.
