An established industry player is seeking a Data Program Director to lead the Cogito Project and oversee a portfolio of Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in program management, particularly in healthcare settings. Under the direction of the Sr VP Chief Information Officer, the Data Program Director will oversee the Cogito Project Manager and ancillary data specialty roles. They will provide accountable oversight to a portfolio of Business Intelligence & Analytics initiatives, applying industry best practices to manage the intake, scoping, planning, staffing, execution methodology, and long-term road mapping of projects within the assigned portfolio. This role will partner with leaders in Business Intelligence and Analytics, Clinical Quality, Finance, IT, and other operational/functional areas, as well as third-party organizations, to align the program with stakeholders and ensure successful adoption and value realization.
Annual Salary Range: $155,667.20 - $229,611.20
This position can be Remote Out-Of-State.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge and abilities. A Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Requires at least seven (7) years of progressive program or project management experience, including leadership of business intelligence analysts or Cogito Project Managers. Experience should include managing multiple initiatives over $1 million or lasting more than 12 months, preferably in a healthcare setting. Healthcare experience, especially within large provider systems, is strongly preferred. Epic Cogito experience is highly preferred. Additional preferred skills include healthcare analytics best practices, database/data warehouse fluency, data visualization, report/dashboard development, IT application or BI team management, resource & capacity management, talent development, project demand management, strategic planning, change management, and communication management.
