Job summary

CRC Group seeks a Data Product Owner to bridge underwriting with our data warehouse and reporting teams. You will understand underwriting needs, translate them into precise data requirements, and guide delivery with engineering partners across multiple verticals.

You will collaborate with underwriting leadership, manage backlogs, and validate outputs to ensure alignment with business intent, driving adoption within the organization. An agile, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership.
• Experience with data warehouse, BI, or reporting teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with underwriting teams to understand objectives and data needs.
• Capture and document requirements in clear, unambiguous language for reporting and engineering teams.
• Partner with data warehouse and reporting teams to scope, prioritize, and establish work.
• Translate business needs for technical teams ensuring mutual understanding.
• Manage backlog items and participate in agile ceremonies and delivery cadence.
• Validate delivered reporting and data outputs against original business intent.
