Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Data Product Owner to serve as the liaison between underwriting and the data warehouse/reporting teams. You will translate underwriting needs into clear technical requirements and guide delivery across multiple verticals.

You will meet with underwriting to capture objectives, document requirements, and prioritize work with data science/BI teams. You will ensure alignment, manage backlog, and drive adoption of reporting outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to translate ambiguous business asks into clear data requirements.
• Experience gathering requirements for data warehouse/BI/reporting projects.
• Familiarity with insurance underwriting concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with underwriting teams to understand objectives and data needs.
• Capture and document business requirements for reporting and data teams.
• Partner with data warehouse/reporting teams to scope, prioritize and establish work.
• Serve as the translator between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Manage backlog items and participate in agile ceremonies and delivery cadence.
• Validate delivered reporting and data outputs against original business intent.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with division owners and leadership.
