Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Data Product Owner to bridge underwriting, data warehouse, and reporting teams. You will translate business needs into clear data requirements and guide delivery across multiple verticals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful adoption of outputs.

Ideal candidates bring a strong analytics background, experience with BI tooling, and familiarity with insurance underwriting concepts, in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership.
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering with data warehouse/BI/reporting teams.
• Familiarity with insurance underwriting concepts preferred.
• Experience in agile environments with boards or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with underwriting teams to understand business objectives and data needs.
• Capture and document clear business requirements for reporting and engineering teams.
• Partner with data warehouse and reporting teams to scope and prioritize work.
• Translate business needs into written requirements for technical teams.
• Manage backlog items and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Validate reporting outputs against original business intent and drive adoption.
