Job summary

Credit Acceptance Corporation seeks a senior technical product leader to own AI/ML product outcomes from framing to launch and post-launch. You will partner with AI/ML Engineering and Science teams to translate business needs into measurable solutions, define KPI-driven roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to communicate value and ROI to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business, Data Science or related field.
• 8+ years in technical product management, solution ownership, or business-facing roles; ideally in financial services and including AI/ML or data products.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and system design; ability to set expectations and defensible build-vs-buy decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to own a product outcome end-to-end, from framing through launch and monitoring.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL and ability to engage technical teams on feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact to the business for AI/ML domains; understand needs and identify opportunities.
• Lead discovery, size opportunities, and validate feasibility before committing to a solution.
• Own the product roadmap and prioritization; demonstrate value of pursued initiatives.
• Define success metrics, KPIs, and the roadmap per product.
• Translate problems into solution direction, technical specs, and delivery plans with AI/ML teams.
• Lead vendor evaluation, integration design, and proof-of-concept scoping.
