Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy and data protection capabilities across structured and unstructured data. You will design scalable privacy solutions, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure privacy-by-design while enabling business innovation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Privacy Engineering, Security, Data Protection or related fields with regulatory experience.
• 5+ years designing enterprise data protection capabilities including encryption, tokenization, and DLP.
• 5+ years programming in Python, Java, Go or similar.
• 5+ years in cloud and DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, and security automation.
• 3+ years leading enterprise privacy and data protection initiatives with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across data environments.
• Design and deploy PETs including encryption, tokenization, anonymization, DLP, and classification.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance to embed privacy-by-design and regulatory alignment.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations for audits and investigations.
• Drive governance, metrics, and automation to strengthen privacy posture and efficiency.
