CVS Health seeks a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities and embed privacy-by-design across the organization. You will design scalable privacy solutions, work with cybersecurity, legal, and product teams, and influence the privacy engineering roadmap.

Qualifications

7+ years in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, or related fields with GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA experience.
5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data protection: encryption, tokenization, data classification, DLP, or insider risk controls.
5+ years hands-on coding in Python, Java, Go, or similar.
5+ years in cloud environments and DevSecOps, including CI/CD and security automation.
3+ years leading enterprise privacy or data protection initiatives with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and continuous improvement of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across data environments.
Design, deploy, and optimize Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) for sensitive data protection while enabling business innovation.
Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity to embed privacy-by-design and translate regulatory requirements into scalable architectures.
Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations to support audits and regulatory obligations.
Drive governance metrics, automation, and data protection maturity through cross‑functional leadership.
