Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Platforms & Governance to lead data solutions powering analytics, AI, and product innovation. You will oversee engineering teams building a trusted, FDA-compliant data foundation and modernizing architecture from Snowflake to Databricks.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days on-site weekly, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with data governance, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in a managerial role; advanced degree with 5+ years in leadership.
• Preferred: 3+ years in people leadership and data hub architecture, governance, and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of Power BI reporting from Snowflake to Databricks with zero business disruption.
• Own end-to-end solution design for data integration pipelines and analytics reporting.
• Oversee Medallion Architecture implementation (Bronze/Silver/Gold) in Databricks.
• Design complex data workflows merging clinical telemetry, ERP, and CRM data streams.
• Enforce data model principles and optimize star/snowflake schemas and semantic layers.
• Mentor data engineers and ensure compliance with HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, FDA data integrity.
