Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Data Platform Manager to own the strategy and architecture for a modern data platform across Orthopedics. You will lead the Data Foundation initiative to overhaul the data ecosystem, establishing a scalable lakehouse using Databricks, cloud services, and medallion architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional work experience.
• Experience leading design, implementation, or modernization of data platforms or lakehouses.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, SQL, Delta Lake, and cloud data services (Azure and/or AWS).
• Experience designing reusable ingestion and data pipeline frameworks, orchestration, and data quality controls.
• Ability to communicate platform concepts in a matrixed organization and lead distributed teams.

Responsabilités

• Own and implement the Data Platform and Data Foundation strategy, target architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead the design and evolution of a scalable Databricks lakehouse with medallion architecture and cloud-native services.
• Design, build, and scale reusable data ingestion pipelines with strong data quality controls.
• Establish engineering standards for data modeling, testing, CI/CD, security, and production readiness.
• Govern data engineering practices with governance, lineage, quality, and certification integrated into workflows.
• Provide technical governance for business separation activities while ensuring continuity.
• Translate business needs into platform capabilities and delivery roadmaps.
• Lead internal engineers and delivery partners, setting direction and reviewing quality.
