R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer – Data Platform to build the data foundation for PhareOS Stack, enabling AI-driven healthcare workflows. You will design backend schemas, APIs, and reliable systems to ingest, transform, and serve large healthcare datasets.

You will collaborate with AI/ML and product teams, focusing on scalable, observable, and secure data platforms that power both internal models and customer-facing products.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years working with high-throughput data pipelines & distributed data systems.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and SQL; experience with Python/Java/Go for ETL.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on use of Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Kafka or similar data tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Healthcare or RCM experience is a plus.

• Building scalable data infrastructure using modern data engineering technologies and cloud-native architectures.
• Partnering with AI/ML and product teams to provide reliable data foundations for models and customer products.
• Driving observability, reliability, and operational excellence through monitoring and automation.
• Owning critical production systems and influencing architecture decisions for the data platform.
