Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Director of Data Management & Data Platforms to own the enterprise data environment, including SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Data360 MDM. You will set multi-year platform strategy, govern data assets, and drive cost optimization while leading primarily offshore resources and collaborating with Security, EA, and BI teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in data management with 7+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on Databricks experience; cloud data platforms knowledge.
• Strong governance, security, cost management, and scalability practices.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data platform strategy and 1–3 year roadmap.
• Lead evaluation of Snowflake and other platforms; build business cases.
• Own Databricks Lakehouse end-to-end; enforce standards and governance.
• Oversee Data360 MDM product; ensure data quality and lineage.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with IT leadership.
