Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director – Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms to shape enterprise data and AI capabilities. You will collaborate with business leaders, architects and engineering teams to set technical direction and deliver modern data platforms that provide measurable business value.

You will guide architecture decisions, mentor teams, and drive secure, scalable, high-performing solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, while advancing AI adoption and AI-powered

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms or analytics engineering.
• Experience guiding architecture and solution-design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data/analytics using Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data, analytics and AI platform initiatives from design to production support.
• Guide architecture decisions to meet security, scalability and performance requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review data pipelines and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance.
