SailPoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering & Analytics to own the enterprise data platform.

Hybrid leadership and hands-on work, mentoring engineers while shaping data modeling, pipeline architecture, and business automation across BigQuery, dbt, SnapLogic, and Tableau. Formación

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Enterprise Data Solutions.
• 2+ years of formal people management, or leading engineering squads, sprint planning, and Jira backlog management.
• Production-level experience designing, optimizing, and managing a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery or Snowflake).
• Advanced dbt experience — architecting and deploying projects with macros, tests, incremental models, and documentation.
• Hands‑on experience building integrations using an enterprise iPaaS (SnapLogic, Workato, Fivetran, Boomi) and REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience administering a modern BI platform (Tableau user management, data sources, site administration).
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical business partners and document complex workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing regular feedback and career development support.
• Own the team’s Jira board and lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Architect and maintain the data transformation layer in dbt with modular, well-documented models.
• Manage and optimize the enterprise data warehouse in BigQuery with performance tuning and access controls.
• Build and monitor ELT pipelines and automated workflows using SnapLogic and REST APIs.
• Design and run PoCs to evaluate emerging technologies and architectural enhancements.
• Administer Tableau including governance, permissions, licensing, and content promotion.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, Git-based version control, CI/CD, and documentation.
