Job summary

SailPoint seeks a Manager, Data Engineering & Analytics to own the architecture, delivery, and evolution of our enterprise data platform. Hybrid leadership and hands-on role managing data engineers, data modeling, pipeline architecture, and business automation.

You will bridge business and technical teams, architect scalable solutions in Google BigQuery and dbt, orchestrate integrations via SnapLogic, and oversee Tableau. Strong leadership and cloud data experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Enterprise Data Solutions.
• 2+ years of formal people management, or leading engineering squads with Jira.
• Production‑level experience designing, optimizing, and managing a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery or Snowflake).
• Advanced dbt experience — macros, tests, incremental models, documentation.
• Hands‑on experience building integrations via enterprise iPaaS (SnapLogic, Workato, Fivetran, Boomi) and REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience administering a modern BI platform (Tableau) and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers with regular feedback and career development.
• Own Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
• Architect and maintain the data transformation layer in dbt and data warehouse in BigQuery.
• Build and monitor ELT pipelines and automated workflows using SnapLogic and REST APIs.
• Administer Tableau including governance, permissions, licensing, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into technical roadmaps and data deliverables.
