Job summary

Pivotal Talent Search Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Data & Analytics to lead a global Data Engineering team and shape the architecture and modernization of a sophisticated enterprise data environment.

You will work across Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, and Power BI to enable Analytics, BI, Data Science, and AI initiatives. You will define strategy, mentor engineers, and drive best practices for security, reliability, and cost optimization while delivering scalable data capabilities

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise data platforms and data lakehouse architectures.
• Proven leadership of global data engineering teams and driving modernization.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and Kafka for analytics, BI, and AI.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines and data modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; Fortune 500/retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global Data Engineering team responsible for enterprise Data Platforms, engineering, and day-to-day data operations
• Define and execute the Data Platform strategy, architecture, roadmap, and modernization priorities across the organization
• Design scalable Data Architecture leveraging Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and Kafka for batch and streaming pipelines
• Build and evolve Data Lake and Lakehouse architecture, reusable components, frameworks, and engineering standards
• Lead enterprise canonical and dimensional data modeling to support analytics, BI, data science, and AI
• Partner across Data Engineering, BI, Data Architecture, Data Science, Product, Technology, and business teams
• Drive best practices across security, reliability, performance, metadata management, and cost optimization
• Support full lifecycle from architecture to modernization
• Mentor and develop team members; foster technical excellence and accountability
• Ensure platform stability, business continuity, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of initiatives
