Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a data engineering leader to build and scale enterprise data platforms that empower business decisions. You will mentor a team of data architects, analytics engineers, and data engineers while shaping the data strategy and analytics roadmap across the organization.

You will drive governance, quality, and performance across ELT/ETL pipelines and analytics platforms, partnering with stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact and foster innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of people management leading technical teams.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Power BI, and data ingestion platforms such as Fivetran.
• Deep understanding of Data architecture, ELT/ETL pipelines, Data modeling, and Data quality frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale analytics and business intelligence environments.
• Proven experience formalizing data engineering standards, governance frameworks, operating models, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data architects, analytics engineers, and data engineers for Synopsys' enterprise data platform.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and develop a strategic roadmap for data and analytics capabilities.
• Prioritize team efforts across platform enhancements, operational support, technical debt reduction, and new project delivery.
• Drive the successful delivery of data engineering projects from planning and design through implementation and production support.
• Define and enforce standards for data architecture, data modeling, data quality, governance, documentation, and platform operations.
• Establish strong delivery management practices including resource planning, execution tracking, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data architectures, ELT pipelines, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate across engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to enable effective data-driven decision making.
• Promote modern data engineering best practices and continuous process improvement across the organization.
