Qualifications

• Seven years of related work experience
• Advanced expertise in database design, development, testing and maintenance for production-ready systems
• Advanced expertise in structured systems analysis and design, user relations, data gathering techniques, and MIS
• Experience supervising or managing people and/or projects or leading teams
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Proven project planning and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and controls the activities of the analysis, design, development, and installation phases of the systems lifecycle.
• Reviews service requests and consults with sponsors, requesters, and users to clarify intent and discuss alternate solutions.
• Estimates staffing requirements, costs and time for project activities and assigns resources.
• Reviews and approves major deliverables of the SDLC ensuring proper walk-throughs with users.
• Communicates with data center management for resolution of system problems and efficient utilization of resources.
• Mentors Data Platform Administration professionals and oversees resource availability and costs.
• Leads staff meetings and maintains knowledge of regulatory mandates to ensure compliance.
