Job summary

Univera Healthcare seeks a Manager of Data Platform Administration to lead a technical team responsible for planning, designing, developing, and maintaining data platforms and applications. The role interfaces with users to capture needs, enforces standards, and ensures compliant, efficient data operations.

The position requires strong leadership, advanced data platform expertise, and proven ability to manage projects and budgets while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or relevant field; six years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced expertise in database design, development, testing and maintenance for production ready systems.
• Advanced expertise in structured systems analysis, data gathering and MIS.
• Prior experience supervising or managing people and/or projects.
• Demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Expertise in project planning and project management.
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Directs analysis, design, development, and installation phases of the systems lifecycle.
• Consults with sponsors, requesters and users to clarify intent and discuss alternatives.
• Estimates staffing, costs and time for project activities and assigns resources.
• Reviews major deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Coordinates with data center management for resource utilization and issue resolution.
• Develops corporate information systems model and development sequence in collaboration with IS Planning.
• Mentors Data Platform Administration professionals and guides policy/procedure adherence.
• Maintains awareness of privacy, regulatory and ethical requirements.
