Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for clients. You will lead workstreams, guide governance, and drive data migration and MDG programs across SAP landscapes, delivering scalable data solutions and value.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage engagements, and shape data strategy while traveling as needed for client work and project delivery within EY’s hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) is required.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant SAP module experience including full-cycle implementations.
• Specialized experience across SAP data disciplines: Data Migration, MDG, Data Governance, Data Analytics, and data management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data model and hands-on data migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and client-facing presentation ability.
• Proven experience leading SAP data projects or workstreams and managing project-based teams.
• Knowledge of leading practices across industry-specific finance and technology environments.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems and establish governing policies and procedures affecting data work areas.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
• Manage project status and deliverables while ensuring effective risk management.
• Lead workstream delivery and engage with clients daily to identify opportunities for additional services.
• Provide direction to teams and foster a collaborative environment that enables innovative solutions.
