Job summary

Crescent City Schools is seeking a Data Manager to lead the use of academic performance data, oversee the student information systems, and provide thorough analysis and reporting to support decision-making and instruction.

This in-person, Lead Scale role requires coordinating state and internal testing, completing data reporting, training staff, and collaborating with the Directors of Curriculum and Instruction to implement testing policies and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data-driven improvements in an educational setting.
• Proven ability to manage student information systems and data reporting.
• Strong collaboration with curriculum and instruction leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead use of academic performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee student information systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide analysis and reporting of attendance, discipline, and achievement data.
• Coordinate all state and internal interim testing.
• Complete data reporting requirements including schedules and report cards.
• Plan training and support staff use of SIS and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with staff to define testing policies and procedures.
• Advocate and implement Crescent City Schools' mission and strategy.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students, parents and community.
