Job summary

Qualifications

• Believe in Crescent City Schools' mission and values.
• Holds a BA or BS Degree.
• Preferred Louisiana Teacher Certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in the classroom and raise student achievement.
• Plan long-term units and daily lessons.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Implement feedback and goal-setting into instruction.
• Collaborate with grade-level and subject-level teams.
• Participate in school activities and events.
• Maintain a classroom culture conducive to student achievement.
• Use data to track student achievement and drive improvement.
• Attend meetings about student achievement and school goals.
• Align with Crescent City Schools' mission, vision, and direction.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.
