Job summary

Acara Solutions seeks a Data Manager in Rockledge, FL for a temp-to-perm IT testing leadership role. You will develop, validate, and maintain simulators and emulators to stand in for subsystems while ensuring consistency with ICDs.

You will manage data provisioning for repeatable regression runs in CI/CD, oversee configuration control, and address classification, sanitization, handling, and secure transfer of sensitive data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM.
• 12+ years of professional/military experience.
• 12+ years leading technical teams or designing large-scale distributed systems.
• 12+ years of software testing within IT environments with a focus on mobile apps (Android/iOS).
• 12+ years of experience with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, SVN, or TFS).

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM.
• 12+ years of professional/military experience.
• 12+ years of experience with leading technical teams or designing large-scale distributed systems.
• 12+ years of experience in software testing within IT environments with a strong focus on mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• 12+ years of experience working with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS.

What Sets You Apart:

• Master's Degree in a STEM.
• Hands-on expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages like Python or Bash (Unix shell).
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies for RESTful services; familiarity with JSON/XML data formats.
• knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or DB2; ability to perform data analysis skills for troubleshooting issues.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis; excellent debugging skills are essential for identifying issues efficiently.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including requirements gathering, design review, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Technical support experience related to software troubleshooting within complex system environments.
