Steampunk, Inc. is seeking a Data Intake Specialist to support law enforcement with call handling, real-time data entry, and meticulous processing of investigative information.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while complying with security clearances. Local El Paso, TX candidates or those willing to drive on-site five days a week are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of work experience, or 5 years of work experience with no degree.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Local to El Paso, TX or willing to drive on-site five days a week.
• Strong typing and data-entry speed on live calls and time-sensitive information.
• Experience documenting processes and developing SOPs for data handling.

Responsibilities

• Inbound/Outbound call handling with law enforcement personnel and stakeholders, accurately capturing information.
• Collaborate with teams to examine data from investigations and develop methodologies to exploit information.
• Data entry from hard and soft copies into large-scale processing systems, including live entry during calls.
• Quality control and reporting of findings; regularly report to lead personnel.
• Provide critical law enforcement support across multiple channels while managing data under tight timelines.
