Job summary

Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Data, Innovation, and Technology, starting July 1, 2027. This senior role aligns data governance, information systems, assessment practices, and digital learning with the district's mission.

Qualifications

• Professional Educator License with General Administrative, Principal, or Superintendent Endorsement.
• Master’s degree in Educational Administration.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in education, educational administration, assessment, data analysis, instructional technology, technology services, or related district leadership.
• Knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive student data and assessment systems that support instruction, intervention, student support, school improvement, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of local, state, and national assessment systems, accountability requirements, student data privacy, cybersecurity, accessibility, records management, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Experience with student information systems, learning management systems, assessment platforms, data visualization tools, productivity platforms, and other enterprise technology systems.
• Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills to make sound and proactive decisions with little or no direction.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable to the Board of Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance, analytics, and reporting for the district.
• Oversee district-wide informatics, data management, assessment systems, and cybersecurity.
• Foster data-informed decision-making, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Promote transparency, collaboration, innovation, and responsible data use across schools and departments.
