Dow seeks a Business Process Specialist / Data Governance Analyst to fortify enterprise data governance across business domains. The role focuses on governance artifacts, metadata, data quality, and stewardship alignment, collaborating with business and technical teams to improve data usability.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and aligns governance practices with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required; 2+ years in data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of governance concepts, metadata, and data quality management.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders to support data-related efforts.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Legal work eligibility for United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Create, maintain, and update business metadata, technical metadata, and data catalog content.
• Document data definitions, ownership information, and stewardship assignments.
• Maintain governance repositories, standards documentation, and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and validation activities.
• Monitor data quality metrics and identify data issues for remediation.
