Job summary

Bank of America Chandler, AZ seeks a senior Data Steward Executive to lead the data governance program, oversee data quality and control practices, and drive enterprise data management across business areas.

This role partners with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Technology to align resources, manage priorities, and sustain data integrity that enables informed decision making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data privacy, risk management, compliance, or audit principles.
• Experience leading data governance programs and data stewardship.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Steward Executive accountability for assigned business areas and drive data lifecycle governance.
• Build and coach a team responsible for data management and governance activities.
• Collaborate with Records Management and Data Privacy to align resources and priorities.
• Set priorities and manage team capacity based on business needs, risk, and commitments.
• Work with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Technology to resolve execution barriers and deliver data solutions.
• Define and maintain data processes, controls, and documentation per enterprise standards.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and remediation of identified gaps across lifecycle.
