The Data Governance Analyst supports the Indiana Department of Workforce Development's Chief Data Officer in building and sustaining a new Data Governance Program. The role defines policies, improves data quality, and strengthens workforce data management across the agency while collaborating with stakeholders on data sharing, quality, and privacy initiatives. Success requires strong communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, technical proficiency in data governance, and ideally experience in change management or training.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience, or Associate's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or 7+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of data governance best practices, enterprise asset management, and data protection approaches
• Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends
• Demonstrated consulting skills with change management concepts and strategies
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience leading workshops or training sessions with user communities is a plus
