Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in large data transformation programs focusing on data governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize the Framework: Translate high-level data governance policies and standards into actionable processes and workflows for business and technical teams.
• Stewardship Leadership: Manage a network of Data Stewards across the organization, providing them with the tools and motivation to maintain high-quality data.
• Value Creation From Data Initiatives: Drive adoption of a strategic intake process to identify data use cases that solve business challenges and articulate the resulting business values.
• Tool Adoption: Oversee the implementation and day-to-day use of various data governance solutions (i.e. Data Catalog, Data Quality/ Data Observability, Data Security, etc.).
• Analytics & AI Data Readiness & Enablement: Partner closely with cross functional teams to define and enforce the data standards, quality checks, and metadata enrichment to produce trusted data products.
• Change Management: Advocate for a Data-First culture, create communication plans, training, and feedback loops to help the organization adopt data governance concepts.
• Metric Development: Define and track Activation KPIs—adoption, metadata completeness, and data issue resolution speed.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Work with business, IT, privacy, legal, CISO, and domain teams to ensure governance supports business agility.
