Colgate-Palmolive, a global consumer products company, seeks a Platform Owner in the United States to lead data platform initiatives within the Data Platforms team. You will define product vision, roadmap, and backlog, collaborating with engineering and stakeholders to deliver high-complexity components and drive data-driven decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree.
• 3 years of working experience with Data Warehousing methodologies and data engineering/ingestion tooling.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Own the development and delivery of high complexity data platform components.
• Establish a shared platform/product vision and strategy for the Data Platform and its users.
• Serve as the primary point of contact on stakeholder engagements.
• Maximize the value of the platform: reduce development timelines and costs, drive how we use and integrate new vendor features and offerings and narrow overall platform the time-to-value.
• Assess existing product capabilities and identify opportunities to improve our utilization, user/developer experience, platform stability and performance.
• Identify customer and user needs, developing a strategic plan/roadmap that aligns to business goals, and planning and executing to that vision
• Create and maintain the backlog with inputs from stakeholders and the team.
• Weigh risks, issues, and impediments being experienced by Platform team(s) and actively assists with issue resolution.
• Provide mentorship to business associates through community of practice and other informal forums
• Closely partners with Engineering to solve complex business and client problems.
