Salesforce is seeking a Data Foundation Account Executive in the Chicago area to lead the data foundation strategy across MuleSoft and Informatica, driving AI-enabled outcomes for CIOs and data architects.

You will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, identify high-value use cases, and articulate ROI from a unified data foundation that enables scalable AI initiatives enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full cycle sales experience, ideally with SaaS or tech solutions.
• Experience working with small business owners or key decision-makers.
• Familiarity with software, cloud, or platform solutions and ability to discuss technology.
• Ability to translate customer challenges into tangible business outcomes like time savings, cost reduction, or revenue growth.
• Comfortable working across teams and keeping deals moving with multiple stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in how AI tools are changing how small businesses operate.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high account volume.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Foundation mandate and carry quota for MuleSoft and Informatica, positioning Data Foundation as the essential layer for AI initiatives.
• Lead discovery sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover data quality issues and advocate a MuleSoft + Informatica-led foundation.
• Orchestrate the ecosystem by engaging with product specialists and partners to deliver a unified Data Foundation solution.
• Identify AI-ready whitespace and demonstrate value of combining MuleSoft and Informatica to automate workflows.
• Translate technical connectivity and data management capabilities into business ROI and articulate the impact of Data Foundation on AI investments.
