Job summary

CYNET SYSTEMS is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

You will enter, update, and maintain data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and supporting administrative workflows. The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years in data entry, a high school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred), strong organizational skills, and proficiency with data management tools, spreadsheets, and document editing software.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in data entry or related administrative roles.

  • Ability to perform data validation and quality checks accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and verify large volumes of data across multiple systems and databases.
  • Perform routine data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or errors in data entries.
  • Maintain data integrity and security across all platforms and systems.
  • Assist in generating reports, organizing data, and supporting data analysis activities.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, greeting visitors professionally and directing them appropriately.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute follow-up actions as needed.
  • File physical and digital documents systematically, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Create, edit, and proofread various documents, spreadsheets, and reports for accuracy and clarity.
  • Scan, copy, print, and organize paperwork to support administrative workflows.
  • Coordinate small events, training sessions, or team activities to foster a collaborative work environment.
