Job summary

Aeroflow Health is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize SQL-based solutions powering operational workflows. You’ll work within a MSSQL-heavy environment and expanding AWS cloud ecosystems, balancing engineering with stakeholder collaboration.

The role is hybrid, with three days in the office per week, and focuses on 60% SQL/AWS engineering, 20% partnership, 20% code reviews and teamwork. You will help modernize data systems for the future.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data/Database Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on SQL development and production database logic.
• Experience with MSSQL or similar relational databases.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS, and data pipelines.
• Strong communication with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based solutions for workflows.
• Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, data models.
• Troubleshoot and refactor SQL code for performance.
• Build scalable data pipelines across DBs and AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers, analytics, and product teams.
• Mentor others and document architectures and processes.
