Job summary

Wendy's in the United States is seeking an Engineer - Data to lead data and BI initiatives, define requirements, and manage small to medium projects across partners and vendors. You will support Looker, Power BI, SnapLogic, and BigQuery on Google Cloud.

This role emphasizes collaboration with developers and product owners, delivering on time with high quality, and enabling secure data management and reporting for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with software implementation and data management.
• Exhibits well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills in a rapidly changing environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical team members.
• Strong foundations in SQL and Python.
• Working knowledge of BI tools Looker and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Google Cloud preferred).

Responsibilities

• Complete sprint assignments and estimate effort to integrate Wendy's data platform with source and target systems.
• Stay current on industry trends and propose solutions to meet business needs.
• Participate in requirements gathering, story scoping and project timelines to deliver solutions on time.
• Manage existing implementations and perform configuration changes.
• Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to align on requirements and scalable solutions.
• Support change management and training to roll out new features to production.
