Job summary

Region 4 Education Service Center seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud data platforms and analytics pipelines. You will collaborate with the Solution Architect and cross-functional teams to deliver trusted dashboards and insights using AWS, Snowflake, and Power BI.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, Python, data governance, and experience migrating legacy reporting to cloud BI platforms, with an expectation of agile delivery and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Math, Engineering, CS, IT).
• 4+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or BI roles.
• Experience with dashboards/reports in Power BI or similar tools.
• Advanced SQL across cloud platforms (Snowflake/Redshift/Aurora).
• Experience building cloud data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Athena, Lambda, S3).
• Experience supporting reporting for enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architects and Product teams to design analytics architecture.
• Build and maintain cloud data pipelines and curated datasets using AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop dashboards and analytics using Power BI, AWS QuickSight, or equivalent.
• Gather and document reporting requirements from internal teams and customers.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms.
